My little emo corner

Recently I got hooked to my emo corner. Sitting on the bean bag with head cushioned by that black piggy, while reading a book and occasionally looking out of the window is bliss. I have a good view of the CBD area but it is going to change when they start building flats in the plot of land in front of me.

My Specs

Finally I made my specs…a frameless one last week.
I am still getting use to it.

I never knew 3 pieces of flimsy metal wire with lenses will cost so much.
Original
Cost of 3 pieces of wire = $215
Lenses (with warranty – they claimed it is unbreakable/would not get chipped) – $180

My reaction was to tell them, forget it, no budget so they lowered the price to $360.
I told them to let me cheaper frames but I still like the original ones so they lowered it to $350.
I told them no and carried on looking at other frames and after trying 10 more pairs, we all agreed that my original choice is better so they lowered it to $330.
I looked at them and told them that it is way above my budget and finally they offered me $300 and I took up the offer.

My original budget was only $200 and now thanks to my good taste, I spent another $100.

After testing my eye sight, they informed me that my vision is slightly better as there was a drop in 50 degrees in each eye. First time it ever happened to me.
Anyway, it was only when I paid my deposit that I realized my 3 flimsy pieces of wire is actually Titanium which is made in Japan. No wonder so expensive.

I have worn it for about 5 days and everyday I fear that I will accidentally drop it, step on it, sleep on it or crush it. It is so light as compared to my old ones and I am still not used to it. I am not a gentle person, I fear that this specs will not last more than 1 month (my last pair of frameless lasted me 2 weeks).

Maybe I am just plain tired.
Maybe its PMS.
Maybe because my work is finally more relax and all the past few months pent up feelings all got released.

Origins of babypandagal

Why did I choose babypandagal as my blog address? Seriously I don’t know. I was not trying to be cute or anything like that. In the first place I am not cute and never will I be.

Back to the topic, I like pandas. They are so cute, so adorable and so fat. (only similarity between the panda and me is that i am fat with dark eye rings), thus there I was trying to register panda (yes trying my luck) and of course I did not get it. So I tried pandagal (yes I know I am not being original and creative), obviously it was taken up too. Last resort, I tried a baby in front and by stroke of luck I got it. Since I got it, I used it.

Due to the cuteness of this address, I thought of changing it alot of times. However I found that it is such a big hassle to try to think of another original nickname (laziness plays a part too) and since it is rather easy to remember and fact that it detacts me from my usual nickname (means people would not associate my normal nickname to this address), therefore this address is here to stay.

Sleep

I am not a morning person. I will not and never will be one. Just waking me up will take ages (translated to 我很会赖床). I think the longest someone took to get me off the bed was like 5 or 7 hours (yes I am such a pig).

Since young I always love sleeping. To actually to be able to feel too refresh, I need minimum 10 hours of sleep, non interrupted sleep. Strange that now I am currently having a job which is not allowing me to sleep as much as I like…

I am quite well trained in art of sleeping. I can sleep anywhere and anytime. I fall asleep fastest on buses. The slight vibrating jerking motion is like a rocking chair slowly putting me to sleep.
